Gulf Park Coastal Pathways Scholarship
The Coastal Pathways Scholarship is designed to help students from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College and Pearl River Community College make a smooth and affordable transition to Southern Miss Gulf Park.
Students who qualify will receive a $5,000 annual scholarship, renewable with continued eligibility.
WHO QUALIFIES?
You must:
- Have most recently attended Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College or Pearl River Community College, with enrollment since 2023
- Earn an associate degree from MGCCC or PRCC or complete at least 60 transferable credit hours
- Have a minimum 2.5 cumulative transfer GPA
- Declare one of the following majors at Southern Miss Gulf Park:
- Biological Sciences
- Business Administration (General Business)
- Elementary Education
- Marine Biology
- Marine Science (Hydrography)
- Ocean Engineering
- Organizational Leadership
- Psychology
ENROLLMENT REQUIREMENTS
- Take at least 15 credit hours each semester
- Complete 9 hours of face-to-face classes on the Gulf Park campus
- Maintain a 2.5 cumulative GPA
This scholarship cannot be combined with other Southern Miss transfer-specific scholarships, but can be stacked with Â鶹´«Ã½ Foundation, state, or external awards.
